My kids have this big fascination with critters these days. Their interest mostly involves roly polys but also topping the list are snails, worms beetles and pretty much anything that crawls slithers and creeps in the earth. This evening I decided to capture this on camera.
A collection of roly polys If you double click on this picture, on the right hand side of the cup, near the grass. You will see the worlds tiniest roly poly ever.
Here is the little guy crawling on my middle finger
Calyn's first encounter with an earth worm
The kids showing me their roly polys
Just two cute kids having fun together.
Calyn's roly poly that has put himself in the roly poly defensive position.
Max and his roly poly. About 90% of Max's roly poly's end up dead. He doesn't seem to care. He still plays with them even if they don't play back.

Paige & Audrey are also obsessed with roly polys. Last weekend Paige played with crawfish and frogs. Maybe we should get the 4 of them together
