Painting With a Twist

If you are keeping track, this is post number three on day three. I told you felt aweful for being such a slacker!
I had to tell you about this place we went to last night. Merrick and I are part of a Bunko group. Although we never play the game anymore, we still use the name Bunko in our group name. Lately we have been getting together once a month for a "girls dinner" It is always a good time laughing with friends.
A couple of weeks ago our friend Allison suggested we try something new. This place we went last night is called Painting with a Twist. Before arriving you go to their website, pick the day you want (each class has a featured painting that the whole class paints) and reserve your spot for the class.  You pay $35 and are provided an instructor (which shows you how to do things and makes suggestions on color but leaves all decisions up to you) paint, brushes, an apron and a beautiful artistic canvas that you get to take home. You are allowed to take in wine (if you are over 21) and snacks.
None of us were artists, but we all had a BLAST! We had a lot of good laughs and decided this was something we WILL do again.

(just lost my little note)here is the new one....good for Calyn in working so hard to get her new doll, Jesse, and the art class sounded like lots of fun...what was the name of the picture? ME's painting tells me the sun was setting and yours tells me the sun was just coming up...my comment for this is the background color of the sky....hope you have them hanging in your home...and one shows me that her painting had a breeze...she must be from OK.our leaves are always have the WIND effect...ha...
