Go buy the book Dance Me, Daddy!!! My Aunt Marta and Uncle Gary gave this book to Calyn for her birthday and let me just say it is a beautiful story. In side the book there is a CD. On the CD there is a song and narration of the story. The story takes you through a relationship between a father and a daughter from childhood all the way up to the day she gets married and starts a family of her own. It is a wonderful story!!!
Matt was reading it to Calyn last night and he came out as usual after a few minutes. When he did, I asked if it was my turn. He looked at me, said yes and then said have you listened to that song that goes with the book? I told him I hadn't yet. He said you need to go in there and listen to it.
Let me just say to that anything that brings a tear to a grown man's eye is 100% for sure going to make me cry!
It is beautiful and it will for sure be a song in Calyn's video next year. So not to disappoint. Here is the link to the song on You Tube. It is called King of the World and it is by Point of Grace.
