Part I The Birthday / Halloween Costume Party

Every year for the last several years we have had an annual Halloween party were everyone in the family is encouraged to dress up. Last year and this year we also coordinated Calyn's birthday into it. Next year we may just make it a big party and invite friends and family.
When mom got there she made it a point to not come in at the same time as my dad so that maybe the kids would be fooled as to who she was. She came in all crouched over face and hands green black wig and even changed her voice to sound wicked. She walked in and Calyn said "hi Grandma Chebs" :) There's no foolin her!
As always mom made a lovely yummy cake, we had a piniata, TONS of food and drinks and LOTS of presents for the birthday girl to open. There were several gifts where Calyn folded her hands over her heart, had her mouth wide open and gasped "oh my goodness!" She is so dramatic and I just love it! Here are some fun pictures from the evening.
