A Day With Four Monkeys

Mom and Dad went on a mini trip with their neighborhood to Lake Charles so Merrick and I split up babysitting duties. Today it was my turn and tomorrow will be hers. The kids have been so good to me today.
We started out our morning with some McDonalds that Merrick brought over. The kids all ate really well. After breakfast we all got our shoes on and headed to the bank. On our way I drove the kids by where Grandma Chebs and Papa Bob used to live. When we got to the bank Corry asked if we could go see where her mommy and daddy used to live. At her request, we drove a bit and went and saw where Merrick and Jimmy used to live. After that, we headed home.
When we got home the kids played awhile and I started preparing lunch. The menu for the day was apples, peaches and strawberries and Hamburger Helper. All the kids ate great so they got a special surprise... Cookies from Aunt Sandi!! Emma had some specialty cookies left over from her birthday tea party so AS shipped the kids each one. They must have been really good because the kids gobbled them up!
After lunch we headed outside and the kids played in the back yard.
It is now nap time and really quiet in the house. The girls are watching TV and laying down and both boys are asleep.
The day has been wonderful!! Here are some pictures of our day

One of the draw backs to being a dog that hangs out under the table at my house during lunch time...

On the flip side of the draw back, I am sure a few others made it into his mouth
