Happy Father's Day and a Possible Good Bye to an Old Friend

Happy Father's Day to all the dads!!!

We went and got Matt breakfast this morning and let him sleep in. When he woke up and came out of the bed room Calyn immediately exclaimed Happy Fathers Day! The best thing was I had only mentioned that we were getting daddy breakfast because it was his special day. It is Fathers Day. So her exclamation when he walked in the room was all Calyn it had no prompting from me. It was so sweet.

We have a canvas of Calyn in our living room from when she was little so we needed one of Max. It came Fed Ex yesterday along with Matt's fathers day gift. A canvas of the two babies. It turned out beautiful. If you ever need a canvas done please do it through Canvas on Demand. They do a great job!

Tonight we went to mom and Dad's house and had Cheesecake and watched the Dad's open their father's day gifts and mom open her belated birthday gifts.

On a sad note mom and dad are possibly putting Bonnie their mini schnauzer to sleep tomorrow. She is 17. She has gotten to the point to where she has no bathroom control, her eye sight is going and she sometimes just seems completely lost. Of course they thought this was going to be an easy decision but they said today she was spry, running and seemed happy so it was as if she sensed something. We will see what tomorrow brings.

Sorry to hear about Bonnie. 17 is really old, so at least she led a good long life.

I'm sorry to hear about Bonnie, but she has had a long healthy life to this point. Sometimes putting your pet to sleep is the greatest act of love!

I have used canvas on demand too. I have an awesome picture of Emma & Mike on the beach in Cancun. I went ahead & had mine in color since the ocean is so beautiful there.
