The Three Year Old in her Shines Through

I really can't complain much both of my kids have been great! 90% of the time Calyn listens to what you are saying and will obey you. She is three so she is not perfect in this respect but still pretty good no less. Except when it comes to bed time....
The last couple of nights Calyn has thrown some doozy fits right before bed. One of them resulting in the removal of some of her favorite books. She seems to be off to a better start tonight. She didn't put up a fight on the way to brush her teeth. Looks like maybe she will get a few books back tonight. It is tiresome for Calyn, mommy and daddy.

Mr. Max doesn't put up much of a fight when you put him down. However he is starting to go through a little separation anxiety. Last night he woke up 3 times in the night. The first I went in popped back in the paci and he went right back down, next was Matt's turn after that visit to Max he continued to cry so we just let him for a bit. After about 2 minutes he soothed himself back to sleep. The third time was at 6 a.m. I was already gone to the gym so Matt again had to handle this one. I do know that Max went back to sleep that time as well. It seems to be harder for us to let him cry it out. We are so afraid he is going to wake Calyn. Hopefully he will outgrow this phase as fast as Calyn did at his age. One can hope can't they?
